I have installed 2 x EZVIZ C8C WIFI cameras. They have micro SD cards in them supposed to record when someone comes within range of the sensors. The cards can be viewed on mobile phone through the EZVIZ app. Sometimes they do not record when I walk test the system . Sensitivity is OK though as they record pigeons landing nearby. Obviously I would like for them to be completely reliable and if anyone can pinpoint the problem I would be most grateful. Live viewing is always OK.

Probably not much help just a few thoughts...

Sounds like the sensitivity parameters need tweaking - what parameters do you have to play with?

Are you saying it never records you when you test it, or sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't?

Motion detection can be dependent on the light too

I don't know this brand, but many of the utility ones are not great at vertical detection..try walk across at an angle, not just towards/away from the camera.

It will show my recording of walking up to my garage but not returning !!

Are you spending enough time in the garage for it to reset and think it's detected a new motion?

Sounds like an excuse to spend more time in the garage to me..... :)
