I have been using Bosch blades for years because I though they were quite good (based on being expensive in Halfords... ). They do tend to get quite noisy though after long use (on long motorway journeys) or when the rain lightens for a few miles. So I had a bit of a google and decided to try the Valeo blades (R48 & R45 for my Colorado). It's only been a couple of days, but gotta say that I am very pleased. They are super quiet and very effective. The only sound they made was for a minute or two until the ice completely melted on the windscreen this morning.

Another  for the Valeo's. I fitted a set on my 80 this weekend passed (after fighting to get the Bosch off as the clasp is different and has little hooks unlike the standard ones)
They're £9.99 each - get the size 18"
Takes 20 seconds to fit (unless there's a clasp type which adds a minute)

Very happy. Will be fitting them to my other truck and the 90 + on the back. Halfrauds were out of stock..
eBay might even have something similar cheaper. Haven't looked yet..
