    [John, what did you have on the truck before these] hiya clive, i was running BFG allterains, 285/75/16, so just gone a bit wider. gotta Hilux for serious offroad stuff, the 80 is used for towing mini-diggers etc. so not worried about flex etc, just getting across muddy sites and fields!

    one of my boys started a drift spec Nissan Skyline, that had just had a new crank fitted...... had NO OIL in it!!!! ran it for nearly a minute before he realised!! there was no damage to the engine, all parts had been coated in GRAPHOGEN. IT IS SUPERB STUFF!

    looking for new tyres, but what size?

    well...... decided to get some new tyres and rims. now running: 305/70/16 BFG muds on 10x16 steels et-32. stock ride height, but uprated springs. no rubbing at all, trimmed bumper a tad, but it wasn't really necessary.

    what size rims are you running the 285/75/16's on? i'm also looking to get new tyres, currently on 275/70/16. bfg at's on 8x16 zero offset. thinking of going for 285/75/16 bfg's either mud or at's, but i'm thinking of putting them on 10x16 modulars with a -32 offset. done a few measurements...

    i've used ACL bearings for years in my drift cars, nissan rb25/26 engines running in excess of 500bhp, never had a problem with them, they take an awful lot of punishment even under extreme high temperatures. not saying the toyota( or whoever makes them for toyota) bearings are not good, just...

    standard size acl bearings will fit, the crank was very well made, they never wear, you cant even regrind the crank shaft, ie, if you spin a shell, its a new crank, that or the con rod pops out to say hello! thats why i did mine, its insurance agaist destroying your engine, i kept putting off...
