That's not very good from Mr T but now you had it in bits they probably won't want to know anything about it!
but at least you are getting to know the truck a little better which is never a bad thing.
I have 285's fitted to mine with standard suspension the front is not too bad for rubbing once the mud flaps are off just a bit on full lock and the rears are fine no rubbing at all.
Thanks
There is somthing making a resonating noise on high speed the noise is worse on the outside that the inside of the car. Having felt the motor there is no vibration so I assume there is somthing in the intake that has come adrift :?
Will have to get to the bottom of it as it drives me mad.
It's not the fan vibrating but seems to be comming from the air intake does anyone know where the fresh air enters the car from. I am assuming under the plastic trim under the wiper arms. Thought I would ask before starting to strip it down.
Has any one had to get to the interior blower ?
Mine vibrates on high speed as if it's out of balance was wondering what kind of a job it would be to change
I have a 2007 LC4 with 122k miles on the clock and I am considering a change due to the mileage.
The trouble is what to change to there is nothing I fancy and I am not keen on the 150.
Don't know if I should be bothered about the mileage or wether to keep running it for a while yet.
How many...
Has anyone removed the clutch from the air con compressor without taking the compressor off?
Mine works but has a noisy bearing that I want to change but don't rearly want to remove the compressor compleatly.
The only comment I would make is the sump is easy to drop to inspect the oil pickup only takes 1/2 hour tops to remove inspect and refit. It doesn't need to be compleatly removed to inspect the pickup.
Outside of servicing nothing done to mine in 116K miles :D
Fingures crossed it stays that way.
My last 120 was a manual LC3 that had front shocks and a clutch replaced under warentee. so cant complain.
When I had mine done they checked the injector seals and replaced them. If there is any sign of failure and blow by then then strip the oil pick up to clean it. If there is no sign of blow buy they wont look at the pickup. This was the infomation from the service manager.
Hi
I have a 2007 LC4 with 115k on the clock and have just had mine done.
Toyota have not issued a recall but there is a service campain so they would do it with your next service.
I called my dealer and they checked the reg and told me it was included they did the work without a service...
Hi I tow with a LC4 auto twin axle van weighing 1800kg and return around 20 mpg towing and 31 average solo.
I had a manual 120 before my current one and it was hard work towing with the 6 speed box the auto is spot on.
It will sit at 70 all day with the van on the back
