Bearing made in China?

Look at this spun bearing I pulled off the crank on my 2F ...1978 FJ43. Made in China?

Is it China ?
Taiwan has links with Toyota and I've long held a sort of vague and unwarranted notion that Taiwan is strong in the R&D department and China avoids copyright problems by replicating parts produced under license in Taiwan .

I am of course guessing the stamp or script might look very similar in the separate nations ?

Come to think of it I'm quite sure I couldn't tell you which was which if the same word was written in Japanese and Chinese ?

They and many others use an alphabet of symbols do they not ?
