Cup holders

There’s a lot of things to love about this vehicle but the cup holder isn’t one of them. Neither of my thermal mugs fit securely. What are folks’ solutions to this? Aftermarket ‘adapter/extender’?

Every Japanese car I've owned has tiny cupholders suitable only for the little 100yen 150ml cans you get in Japan!

Wife has tried out a few adapter/extender things but they are universally shit unless you screw them down somehow. Just makes the cup whole setup top heavy and then any sudden movement makes it topple.

For the 120 i found some decent insulated cups (wot fit fine) in Dunelm
