I did like the car, and I don't think there are many vehicles that look (or are) more purposeful on or offroad, but also I never fully gelled with the car and to be honest, never really saw what all the fuss was about! It was a good car for sure, but dare I say no better offroad than most Land Rovers (in my opinion). Better built? Yes, for sure, but also had less character than a Landie. So when the time comes to build something else, I'm honestly not sure which route I'd take! My betting would be something more modern - either a 100-Series, or a Discovery 3/4 (with a big slush fund...). Time will tell!
