Napa alternator can be had from eBay with 3-5 year warranty depending on the seller. They tend to be well reviewed and are half the price of a genuine new.

On mine the whole snorkel had to be removed to get the bracket off! So unfortunately, not as easy as it could be.

I’ve been down this route. I looked prices everywhere, amayama etc and it was all ridiculous. No way it’s that special!

Just checked on Safari website and 60 bracket is unfortunately completely different.

Yeh I suspect this is what I’ll have to do if I can’t borrow an 80 one. You’re right templating the flat shape and holes isn’t hard. Getting the angle correct will be a pain.
