That's good to know. Mine running fine since delete.... although she now needs a fuel tank..... the drop in fuel economy to 3km's/litre was a bit of a clue.........

Oh, and bodging the pipe did cure the turbo whine......

On reflection.... it may well have passed the emissions test because half the exhaust crap was being diverted to the engine bay.... probably best not to mention that to the tester.......

I'm sure it does work, unless you have a crack in the pipe.... in which case I'm not so sure. Anyway, after a bodge job with goo, glue, a bit of aluminium sheet and a few clamps, mine passed its MOT this morning despite its cracked EGR pipe. (Phew!) I'll look again in the coming days and...

I had that done, but the mechanics were worried it wouldn’t pass the emissions test so they put it back the way it was. I’ve still got the parts, so might do it again next week, after it’s annual test.

That’s kind of you to post, was having trouble (while in the chip queue) finding the name of it. Having searched for a replacement however, I think a bit of aluminium tape is preferable to the £350 people on eBay are asking. The last one was replaced in Ukraine and cost a fraction of that...

I'm trying to work out what's necessary to fit a tow bar to my 100 series Amazon. It has the factory fitted bumper still. Some online places seem to want to sell a whole new rear bar (which presumably goes under the plastic factory one) while others simply have the hitch which presumably...
