I believe that the cars that are stolen for an African destination are more the "bling" cars. The cost of containerising such a car doesnt warrant the cost they will get when they sell it. It wont be going to Kenya as the duty on older cars is too high, could be Ug or TZ perhaps. The local cops...

I agree with JMACD, it could be the rear heater pipes under the car. Take a rad pressure kit and pump up the system to 0.8 bar and then quietly look and watch for leaks (park on a clean dry floor)

I run my 275/70R16 at 28psi all around, I am half on dirt and half on asphalt. If i go out on tour, I go to about 32psi

Try a left bend and then a right bend to see if you get a difference. I had one do that, it was a bent chassis!! check diff locks
