Hmm if only we had a bit more... play time for sure!

So got General Grabbers on the 120, so these will be fine from the comments by Les and Karl, cheers for that chaps

We've got around 6" to 8" of snow now, couldn't wait to finish work to go and play, pulled out the car park to head north and the traffic was stood still, so did a U turn and headed out into the countryside and went the long route, much more exciting and actually much quicker !! definately need those BFGs though, well more like I WANT them not need them !

Nick.

Most of what was there this morning had gone by lunch time and then I think we had another 3 or 4 flakes this afternoon :(

We have only just arrived home from 6.30 leaving the house. A challenging night. I will post pics tomoz.

Oh Mother! It really has snowed now. This is proper snow. Not seen it like this since I was a kid. Opened the back door and it fell into the kitchen. Cars are just vague blobs on the drive. AND NO CRUISER to go play in. There's not much moving today. It's at 18" and still coming down.

It 's so unfair!!

You're right it is, it should be over here where there are working cruisers :) to be fair when it does snow here you can't get anywhere in a 4x4 because then the roads are gridlocked by all those people that are using inappropriate vehicles

right all. Set off from mine at 6.30 for a play. We set off towards buxton but only on the back roads.
We were finding some great snow.

This is where we stopped at buxton as to get some food and one of the lads in a landrover told us he had no wipers and his heater had given up and he thought we should get home.
We all talked him in to carrying on. SILLY US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We headed then to goyt valley to those of you who know the area the other side of buxton.
Going down there steady and dave shouts over the cb (GOD toms lost it). Dave goes sideways down the hill and i mange to clip the bank sideways with the rear and managed to park up so i could get going again.
The lad in the drover had hit the bank and poped tyre off the rim
Some time later and plenty off pixx taking out of him (and loads of this  ) as the car had to be jacked up on a steep bank off ice,we finally got going.
Got lost and had to ring the girlfriend to get directions to where she lived whalley bridge.
Once hear on main roads we set off back.
Nearly forgot the pic of him stuck!

Main road on way home wasnt good. I lost car and ended up off the road but dave got me back on again. Didnt get pick as lorry was comming and needed to get out the way very quick.
All home safe.

Wow, I am seriously jealous, Karl

Central London has lost all its snow over night - few tiny white patches around the place but nothing to speak of really. In SW London we had a reasonable snowfall, maybe 2 inches settling. Took the 80 last night for a play in the carpark of the local rugby club which had not had vehicles in all day and had some fun. I was really hoping to wake up to a scene similar to Karl's with snow piled up this morning and no trains running.... but here I am at work.... :violin:

Wahooooooo ist awesome! Now where do I really need to be this morning, and after reading that Karl, maybe I was best left at Home.. good work!

I have never seen it like this andrew. Great fun. OPened the door for the dog this morning and it was a no go. She refused to step foot outside. She was just crying at the door as she really must have needed to go. She set off up the garden and you can only just se her as she jumps up and out the snow then back down into it. She did what she had to then back inside.

Yes gav

Jon, usually true, but today there doesn't seem to be much moving around. It appears that in the night my cruiser has been replaced by a giant white moose!!

Not bad. Really nice snow too.

You see, oh ye of little faith??

Anyway, enjoy. It's absolute chaos here now - very few cars on the roads and busses sliding dangerously down the hills. Watched a bus slide right into the bus shelter last night - people had to run!! Luckily no one hurt. We had another 2 blizzards go through and it was -5 at 20:00 last night. About another 40mm of snow at home - and it's snowing again now!

What fun!!!
