I was having a hard time getting that guy off. I couldn't try the tricks that I found here and other places due to my motor already being in pieces. So I had to fab a tool to help crack it loose. The handle is 18" long. So that it can sit on the right frame rail and lock the crank in place.

Also I'm having a hard time sourcing a good core cylinder head for my '93 petrol lc. I ordered from cruiser parts but they seem to be having a hard time finding one as well. Fortunately I'm not in a rush...

That's the best way. I had to make one for my Audi as you had to take the crank bolt out every time you changed the cam belt. Even in gear with someone on the brake pedal was not enough lock on the engine solid enough.

This is where decent air impact tools come in handy.

Oh I know. My impact has a few years on it. This situation let me know it was time to let it go and pick up a new one.
