Worlds smallest car

Beggars believe Chas i remember cursing one of them because it was taking up space i needed to put a pallet of empty boxes in and so i had to ditch the pallet and stack the boxes on top of the other pallets . There was one parked on the pavement in Union Mills for about 5 years obviously a forgotten project , i bet i could have bought it for 500 quid :icon-rolleyes:

I think it was a moped engine in them .

That looks a little larger than a moped engine I think.

I only glanced at the link so was talking from general knowledge have no idea to be honest i just have it in my head they were something like 49cc so 2 and 2 equals 5 must be a moped

According to wiki, it's a DKW engine Chas.

DKW (Dampf-Kraft-Wagen, English: steam-driven car) is a defunct German car and motorcycle marque. The company and brand is one of the predecessor entities to the modern day Audi company.

Thanks Clive, I expect small engines of that period were similar looking. Definitely looks like a two stroke anyway.

Sure, the back-pressure shape of the exhaust is a giveaway. Cute car, looks like the buggies kids ride in at the supermarket

Its cool! :icon-biggrin:

Reminds me of one of the really annoying car insurance ads we get on TV here by one of the supermarkets though. :icon-mad

I like the wheels & tyres, 4.10NHS, not for highway use, 3.5" wide and they have 8 lugs
