I've done the UKs deepest in the 80's!

The challenge was to get to the bottom, do a full circle round the outside, then come up, took me about 2 weeks to work up to it - it'd kill me nowadays tho

Looks similar to the submarine escape training tank at the former HMS Dolphin (Fort Blockhouse, such a better name don't you think?) in Portsmouth. I did a bit of work around it a few years back.

I did my first scuba dive this week nothing fancy just half hour coming off the beach to a max 4 metre depth , its something i have always wanted to do and while i'm not sure what i had expected from the experience i'm sure the reality was the opposite . Very enjoyable all the same relaxing is the best description i can offer .
