and not in the way some of you were thinking.

Springs arrived a week earlier than expected all the way from the land down under. No extra ££ or duty needed.

Hopefully fitted in time for October’s social.

Fantastic, but watch the post for a bit. Sometimes when you get stuff from Oz, they use an end to end courier service. In effect, the supplier pays all the duty for you to ease passage across borders etc. They they bill you directly. I had this with my EFS from Oz. Couple of weeks later I got a FedEx bill; not a UK customs demand.

@Chris thanks for the heads up. One way to burst my bubble... feel like the guy who drove through a speed camera too fast, the dreaded blink blink and now agonising wait for the post over the next few weeks

I’ve had that with TNT and they made the Post Office look cheap. £28 handling fee!! :angry-screaming:

I find even with custom duties it’s still cheaper and easier to get parts from Australia, my complete suspension came from Superior Engineering.

Yep, you'll get a bill for sure. Are these to help the AHC cope better at the back or are you ditching it.?

Same here always got a bill in the end, after thinking I got away with it

Yeah I have a fair bit of extra weight and I don’t think the rear springs have ever been touched. Techstream showed the pressures are slightly high, so hopefully these will reduce the pressure and cope with the constant extra load.

Sounds good. Excited to see the end result. Will you do before and after pressure readings without adjusting anything, to see what effect the Kings have?

Sure. I have my before readings pre adjusting the TB. I have post TB adjustment figures and will take readings just before and after.

AHC was playing up yesterday. When trying to shift to H from N it would try, raise the front and rear a little but the light would not hold in H.

Turned off the car and back on and the the light was in H and held in H, Any thoughts? Was on level ground and still did it when I got out of the vehicle...

If this is before putting in the Kings I suppose it is because of too high pressure at the rear circuit.

YYY
