This might be useful:Yep ordered 3 aerosols and an extended probe earlier today, don't know what colour is coming. Doesn't matter as it will be inside the chassis and not seen.

If memory serves @AndycruiserguyLomas has talked about using chain lube for this purpose?I'm filthy hot and bothered.
Just crawled out from underneath having completed this year's rustproofing.
Exhaust sprayed with galvanising paint.
All the nooks and crannies sprayed with ACF50.
Whole underside and chassis cavities with chain lube*
Hand coated the chassis in marine grease, rear axle still well coated from last application.
** re the chain lube, it was just about the cheapest i could find in aerosol multi pack form, no idea how good it would be for chains but was surprisingly good for what was required here, powerful misting spray which sort of congeals in place after a short time, each aerosol came with a 6" flexi spout which means it can make quite useful for chassis and suspension cavities too.
Car care chain spray 450ml x 12 for £32.90, ebay number 144463149381 if anyone's interested.

This is the approach I've adopted in addition to treating any rust I find (and can get to ) with Aquasteel. I'm undecided how much better the various lanolin treatments are, if at all. They're certainly more expensive.
I used to swear by Waxoyl years ago but no longer rate it that much.
I had my rear aircon blocked off, way cheaper than repiping, though it's a bit slower to cool down in summer. However, buying the motor at 11 ish years old it was already too late to stop the aircon pipes corroding through, the cost of repiping those i haven't yet dare tell SWMBO.![]()
