So normally I wouldn't do this but I think I just need a bit of a vent.
A few of you will know that my wife and I have been anxiously waiting for our little girl to be born. On Wednesday she decided to make her way into this world, just not in the way anyone expected.
Everything was going well...
I think it's likely Toyota will do the same, for the UK at least. They've already stopped selling the 200 here and how many people in the UK buy a 150 and make use of the solid rear axle? I'm guessing not a lot.
With the additional import charges for a box of sunshine from Spain I fear leaving would make the the cost of sunshine and lack of rain a non goer Shayne.
Shame really.
More tool porn!
A package arrived for me today, a Milwaukee 3/8 drive cordless ratchet with an extra battery.
It hasn't had a lot of use today, but from what little use it has had I can tell it's going to be a godsend. It just gets into places that the hose on an air ratchet would get in the way.
In all fairness some of that might come down to the quality of your particular unit, when it has been put together like it has, who's to say what the quality control is like.
Yep and that's my problem with it. It's not fit for purpose, there is no possibilty of any of the components used that it could output anywhere near 1000amps.
When I first watched the video it really did explain a lot. I've used Trevs to try and start various vehicles and I don't think it's...
I expected it to be poor but nowhere near as bad as the reality, for it to be that far off the advertised specs is abysmal.

Sorry guys, it's my birthday weekend and it's sounding like Mrs Delmonti has planned something. I might be able to persuade her but I can't promise anything.

For those of you that have used a Noco Genius Boost and found it wasn't up to much, have a little looky at this and a few things might be explained.

You're always welcome if you've got the time.
Anything to make a job easier, saved getting a crick in my neck... [emoji14]
Nick as always, was a pleasure to see you. I'm glad it came off so well, we've had a lot worse!
You should be fine with those Shayne. 8.8 should be plenty strong enough, I've even heard of winches supplied with A2 60 stainless!
I'd just be tempted to put a bit of threadlock on and then mark the bolts so you can check they haven't come loose whenever you service it.

I'll also join in on "Collies Anonymous" I regret selling my shorty, I actually saw it for sale on eBay before Xmas, the last owner had managed to snap the chassis in half, broke my heart.
