    Front Wheel Bearing Change

Hi Bert, Can you remember when you did this job what the torque was for the hub nut ? I saw on a YouTube video it was 174 ft/lbs, does that sound right? Mine came off easily so I don't think it was that tight !

    Auto gearbox help

Yes it seems to be working ok, goes through the gears as it should so far as I can tell. I only took the sump off to change the filter.

    Auto gearbox help

Hi, probably totally unrelated to your problem, but I took the sump off the auto box on mine today and found this in the oil !

    Wheel arch mouldings.

Hello folks, Would anyone know where I could get a good set of rear arch mouldings for a SWB ? I am giving mine a full respray and some of the mounting posts on the ones I removed are missing which was causing the arch to move about and had rubbed through the paint. So I want to put a better...

Hello folks, Could anyone confirm that I have all the washers on the right way up on this ? It's not very clear on the parts diagram that I have. Cheers.

    Techstream

Hello folks, Could anyone recommend the best place to download techstream from ? I've been googling the last few days and it seems to be a bit of a minefield. Some say it's free but then say I need a registration code ? And should I buy a mini vci or vx nano ? Cheers, Andy.

    Rear Fog not working.

Hi, I have discovered I have the same problem on a Colorado. I've found the bypass plugs just behind the light cluster. when I follow the blue wire to the towing socket it is in the correct place according to the socket wiring diagram but there is no sign of any switch, it just looks to me like...

    Bush direction

Yes I bought Toyota parts, I know they are expensive, but in many cases I think they just fit better. This started as a job to replace a broken link bar at the end of the anti roll bar and then I discovered the passenger side chassis mount had rusted away and was hanging loose. So now replacing...

Many thanks, I guess I am just a bit OCD when it comes to things like that ! When I buy new parts I like to know they are fitted to the best of my ability :)

    Bush direction

Hello folks, I am replacing the bushes on the front anti roll bar but I can't remember which way they came out. Does anyone know if the split in the bush should be towards the front or back ? Or does it not matter ? Many thanks, Andy.

    Heater controls

You're right it is tight ! I had another look yesterday and started taking some wires out, it will be difficult to get the panel out but it would be almost impossible to get the cover off the back of it while it is in place. Why would they make it so difficult to change relays !! There is one...

    Heater controls

Many thanks I'll have a look behind the panel tomorrow. Don't have any wiring diagrams and am not that good at reading them either I'm afraid. Have only had it a couple of months, but yes there is an after market stereo fitted by the previous owner.

    Heater controls

Hello, I have a 2001 diesel and seem to have no life at all in the heating/ air con controls. Only the clock and radio antenna switch are working. Have tried a replacement control consul but still the same. I am told there are relays behind the kick panels on both sides. I have removed these but...
