Thank you, that helps a lot. Can you get the speedo re-calibrated?

35 Inch Tires: Pros and Cons

I know sorry. I am more so just wondering what effect bigger tires have in general. I know a Hilux would need a lift to fit 35s; I don't know if that is still too big for it, I am not very educated in tires and their sizes. I am just trying to learn a bit about them. Probably a bad question to...

35 Inch Tires: Pros and Cons

Hey everyone! I was wondering what are the pros and cons when adding bigger 35 inch tires/rims to a LC or Hilux. I know that bigger tires help you crawl up things when four-wheel-driving and that they can slightly help fuel consumption but what else do they do and negatives do they have. Thanks...

    Automatic Tire Inflation System

Ok, I was wondering how tough the system would be. Just interesting though, I don't think I would actually fit one.

    Automatic Tire Inflation System

Hey guys! I was wondering if you can get automatic tire inflation systems for Toyota 4WDs. I believe its called CTIS but I'm not sure. Just curious about it; sounds cool. Thanks!

    BP-51 Suspension Thoughts

Hey guys! I just currently having a gander at the ARB BP-51 shocky's (suspension). Does anyone know how good they really are? I am thinking of putting them in a Hilux (2016+), will they make the ride less bumpy on the highway and improve off-road and towing capabilities? Thanks!

    Tundra vs LC70

Yeah it is a 5L V8 but it only comes in petrol, so it is not as powerful as it could be.

    Tundra vs LC70

Yeah I agree, they don't look great. I don't really like American trucks/utes, they're too boxy and.. well.. ugly. Did the Chevy even fit on the main street :tonguewink::tearsofjoy:

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

I actually don't mind the standard suspension. I was raised in big, bumpy Toyota's so I'm probably used to it :tonguewink: But that kit would be nice... if it wasn't 20K :tired::tongueclosed:

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Thanks for the advice. A house or some property is definitely on the list. They should be the only two major investments in the future so hopefully fingers crossed, everything turns out alright. Would putting a snorkel on the Hilux help with fuel efficiency and engine life-span?

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Thanks! Yeah I do understand its a huge investment at 17-18 but I want something I can buy and not worry about for ages which both can do but the LC76 will do better. A house isn't a massive concern for me at the moment (I know it should, for a fall back at minimum) but the Airforce will provide...

    Tundra vs LC70

Hey all! I was browsing the internet earlier and I learned that in America Toyota sells the Tundra in place of the Hilux and other utes. So I randomly started wondering, how does the Tundra compare to the Land Cruiser 70 series. Other than the LC70's superior looks :P Just random curiosity...

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Do you know any good places to go or things to look at to make the interior more comfortable? I plan on having this car a long, long time and I want it to be a family vehicle as well.

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Yeah I'm definitely going to buy one but for first car I might go with the Hilux just because it is so much cheaper. Then later down the track, maybe 3 or 4 years I'll get the LC76 because it is so much better. For a first car though it is a massive money sink.

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Thanks. I did see that guy. I don't really want to go all out like he has, I just want a nice comfortable and practical interior that at least has a center console you can lean on and more than one cup holder.

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Thanks. I did do some math and the Hilux is at least $25000 cheaper. It does do everything I want to, the LC just does some things much better but also some much worse. So I might buy the hilux and upgrade in future if I find it necessary.

Toyota 76 Series Land Cruiser Wagon or Hilux

Hello everyone! I'm new here so I don't know if this is the right thread or not - sorry if it is. Next year I am looking at either buying a brand new 76 series Land Cruiser wagon or an SR5 Hilux. I am on the fence between the two and I can't decide. The LC76 is much tougher and far more...
