Quick update on this. The Aircon controller seems to be a tad tired as pushing the button furiously for a couple of seconds changes the mode from circ to recirc. Same with the AC button even though I have troubleshooted the AC and found out the compressor is broken. Well, glad I found out the...
Roof rack almost ready to mount. Waiting for some seals that are supposed to arrive later this week or next.
Getting really excited to get it "complete" again.
Promised to add some more pictures but since I don't have a garage, and its getting bloody cold outside the project has had small progress.
Did however get the rear locker indicator to work as planned on the dash. As well as fitted the new Rear/Front locker button as I accidentally ruined the...
Great! We need more of them around! I believe that in Sweden there are only two that are not used by government/military units. And we both live in the same city.
You guys don't make my life easier with that front locker. It will surely be installed in the end.
What's planned in the near future is sorting the rear locker, sorting the distorted parts from the powder coated roof rack in order and installing it. (Waiting for a few seals from Toyota to go...
I have been thinking about front lockers too, but not too sure how often I would need them compared to what they would cost to be fitted. I recon somewhere in the region of 3000+ GBP.
If you mean that they seem to be fitted to the standard side step mounts I believe you are correct. I have not...
Thanks for that!!
As mentioned earlier I don't fancy too many buttons and meters so I decided to redo some of the old ones for a cleaner look. Can't say I did a fantastic job on some of them but it's easy to redo and get a proper fit.
What I am most happy with is removing the Compressor and...
Thank you so much! I really love it, have been wanting one for many many years so this is absolutely awesome for me!
Here are some pictures of the repaint/powder coating before and after. Will sort better pictures as soon as I have a shot at a good spot and no rain.
The front fenders were...
Hello everyone!
Just thought I should try to make some kind of progress thread here for my car.
It was imported by a very nice fellow to Sweden from Saudi in 2003 when he worked
there. Doing this enables you to do more or less anything engine wise on the car as it's
your own property when not...
Just to update, the fault was the sensor. Got a new one for the 105 and it works a charm!
Slowly rebuilding everything that has been worn on the vehicle and just got it back from repaint. Will try to create a thread with updates but I always forget to take pictures.
Cheers!
Hi all,
Having some problems with my aircon.
One of them being that the Resirc/Fresh air button is stuck on Fresh. It does not go off/change when I press it and nothing happens with the servo.
My conclusion is that it has something to do with the servo motor, since a fuse problem ought to...
Thanks all of you guys! As with the Uk Mazda Rotary club you Britts (And all of you others being here on the Brittish forum) really know how to welcome a new guy!
Rich: There are some things that are more or less standard procedure including underbody painting and the likes.
As for paintjobs...
Hi all.
Have been trying to find answers to my problem on more or less every forum out there including this one regarding my faulty water temp gauge.
The car is a 2002 1HZ swapped for a LC80 1HD-T and the temp gauge is dead.
Previous owner said there might be something wrong with the...
Hello all,
Have been a keen reader on here for a few years and finally found the car I have been looking for.
A LC 105.
Car has been engine swapped for a LC80 1HD-T and has a few bits and pieces over the years.
I myself have a lot of plans for it starting with sorting all the paint work to...
