I had this exact issue last fall, new filler cap, filter housing and heater fixed it. I'm sure it was a leak in the primer pump, it would allow fuel to drain back to the tank overnight. Wish I had seen this thread earlier. Glad it's running now!

The old pipe had cracked and broken in two behind the hanger bracket so removal was easy. I finally got it! After hours of trying, I ended up loosening the body mounts and jacking it up to gain enough clearance. It still was tight and needed a judicious application of violence to get it in place. Hope I don't have to do it again for a long time!

Installed new brake pads in front this morning. Since the fronts aren't making horrible sounds anymore, I noticed that the rears were squealing. Changed them out tonight. It's so quiet now! Odd thing is that the squealing rears were only worn about 50%!

Mine is down to 2 speeds. Luckily it's the two fastest! Probably just going to run it as is and get a new fan for when it quits. Airflow seems adequate and you could hang meat in it with the a/c maxed on recirc.:cool:

Whoever owned it Japan put on the fiberglass body kit. I don't get it either but it's gone now, waiting for the factory bumper ends to get here from megazip so it can look right. It's got the Jeep tiny bumper look and I don't like it. On the servicing side, it will be on a maximum maintenance...

It was really shiny when I got it, but it gets a bath once a week whether it needs it or not

SX, auto, cloth, no lockers, no cruise control. Pretty basic, and that's part of why I bought it. Less features, less things to break!

I have a similar problem, some of the time I turn the key and hear a click no crank. If I continue to cycle the key eventually it will engage the starter. It has never failed to start though. I have the same problem on another Toyota car changed the starter no problems for about 4 months, but...
