100 Series CB in dash install

I have a space under the stereo where i want to fit a CB so the question is....

Will this space take a DIN sized unit or is it too small?

Any recommendations for a CB with a front mounted speaker?

Paul, I have done it, I think you have seen mine

but the previous model that took a little trimming, by the look of the new model they have done the trimming for you
Nice radio with some good thing like auto squelch etc
It also doesn't seem to get too hot

Does the channel up and down buttons on the mike have a lock as i was constantly changing channel by accident on my midland rig?

Well......its in, quite a squeeze and some very nervous trimming of the CB head unit.

You wouldn't believe how tricky it was, having to trim down the facia and relocate the parrot blue box.
Worth it though

Ended up doing the job about 3 times as had to put it all together to make sure it was right.
