100 series sump question.

Hello all,

will an 80 series 12v/24v 4.2 sump fit a 1998 100series 4.2? I know the 1hdt and 1hdte are virtually identical engines save for the electrics, but i realize also that the undercarriage of a 100 is a lot different to an 80.

will it work?

I have a 1995 80 and 2004 100. The engines look the same but nearly all the parts are different to each other. Cylinder head, block and sump are slightly different and all have different part numbers.
