G’day all,new to site due to looking for an answer to an issue I’m having with my petrol 105,so G’day and I hope someone has had this issue.It’s been at the auto Sparky’s for 7 weeks and they have no idea,so now I’m back to the drawing board.
My story goes like this.My daughter rang me saying there was a light smoke coming from the dash,so she stopped.
I arrive and pull the cluster out and start the car ,no smoke and drive home
- no burnt wires ( auto sparkly confirms)Full dash out
- instrument cluster fine
ECU and other components tested ok,auto sparkly tells me earth issue which they can’t trace
- when selecting sub tank the car stalls and dash lights go haywire
-can run off front tank
Has anyone come across this issue before or heard off it happening.
