Hi all,

This forum was the place that sparked my interest in this great truck, but now the time has come to sell it on. No introductions is required as to what this truck is all about so lets get down to it:icon-biggrin:

First Registration date: 27/5/1994
2 Owners
Mileage: 150953 Miles (I purchased it with 148000!)
Colour: Grey
V5 available
MOT Certificate valid until June 10th 2013. Only one advisory - Slight oil leak on back plate
Tires: Still legal. Spare has not been used as far as I can tell.
Two sets of ignition keys - very worn so require 'jiggling' about in ignition to get her going. I have bought a spare set (blank) which requires cutting. 2 locking wheel nut keys (1 is spare)

Good bits:
Tony at 4x4 toys serviced it for me when I first got her (May 12th 2012):
- Full Service (£250)
- 2 new batteries (£140)
- P/S Pump kit (£42)
- Genuine Cambelt (£40)
- 2xfront drive shaft oli seals (£8)
- 4xglow plugs (£62)
- Front brake pads (£20)
- Genuine Toyota Aerial (£62)
- 1xRear wheel bearing kit (£22)
- 2xSwivel housing bearing (£15)
- 2xswivel Housingseal kit (£48)
- Genuine Toyota Radiator-New (£80)
- Extra labour - Replaced front swivel bearings and seals, rear wheel bearing replaced, radiator fitted, aerial fitted, reset tappets, remove tow bar and fitted pintle. Rusted patch on sills on both sides removed and patched up - see photos.

Bad points: Due to age inside is worn - seats are fine but roof lining is drooping. There is the obligatory rust patch on drivers side rear which will need attention - it'll get through next MOT i reckon - see photo. The front fog lights dont work - wiring issue I think. The rear number plate light works intermittently - it failed first time on MOT but all I did was unscrew and cleaned up the electrical terminals and it worked to get through MOT but you want to keep an eye out for it come next MOT. Top coat is blistered on bonnet-see photo. As mentioned sills have been repaired - the rust in photos is surface rust-not ingrained.

Thats just about it - as Tony said - it's a good honest example of a great truck!

Price: I bought it for £2900 - I have spent about a grand on it and only used it for 2000 odd miles so make me an offer- if I feel it's a good offer i'll accept! Viewing is welcome (Northampton). Tel: 07967 006440. No silly offers please - I know what i've got:icon-cool:

Im going to advertise on Hilux forum as well, and if it aint gone in the next week for a good price it'll go on ebay.

Thanks.

Graham
