Julian, I contacted Mark Townsend , the chap from near Exeter that you
reccommended as a possible source for winch mounts / bars. I shall be
calling in to see him on Saturday July 31st, and then going on to visit
Castle Drogo. If any other cruiser owners want to meet up down there let
me know. It would be good to see who these people are at the other end
of an e-mail , and take a look at the various Landcruisers.
Regards Gareth Jones.

Hi Gareth,
Christopher Bell and David Harris are down that way, although
Christopher seems to spend most weekends chasing ponies/horses ;-)

Sorry, been away in Yorkshire and off email for a week.
True: the horse-chasing bit. Anyway my machine is bog standard and of no interest to modification aficionados. Although I have to say that on the nine and a half hour journey south (not a good day for Britain's motorway network) I was thinking intercooler and injection pump thoughts to myself as the tortoises zoomed past my window on the exit from roundabouts.
But I'd be glad to welcome any visitors to the West Country - we're just outside Tiverton, about 20 minutes from M5 Junction 27.
