80 series Differential lock wiring.

Hi guys im new here.

im rebuilding a 1985 75 series using the 1hd-ft from an 80series, im also using the front and rear diffs and 5 speed manual gearbox from the 80 series.

the car is almost finished and has been driven all is fine, however I havnt set up any of the differential locks and was wondering how to do so as i dont know what wires are what...

if anyone could be of some help i would appreciate it.

The diff lock wiring is a little complex.
There are 5 wires connected to the actuator and 2 wires connected to the indicator switch. You need either the original computer box or a DIY control circuit to operate the lockers as the voltage to the motor is reversed when the limit switches are activated.
If you send me an email I have some wiring diagrams for both factory and DIY solutions as I retro-fitted OEM lockers to an 80 series with open diffs in South Africa without the computer.
