Just wondering if anyone has ever swapped an OEM non-lockable Diff for
an OEM lockable Diff.
Wonder if you'd have to change the axel aswell....
My rear diff is knackered and a buddy has a lockable rear diff and
actuator that I can swap for an OEM winch
Cheers

Niall,
The diff casing is a different shape. There is a cutout on it toallow
you to get the diff in. The cut out comes close to the edge of the casting,
if you cut it yourself you need to be carefull. I am not sure about the
seating arrangement, IE: is there a machined surface for the diff actuator
to bolt to? I believe Julian knows a thing or two about this.

I think I have read about this being a possible mod, but requiring some
grinding of the diff housing, perhaps check on MUD?
