Does it make £2ks worth of difference, did you have to put a 3 inch exhaust and intercooler on also?

That is hard to quantify. I have an intercooler but not a 3" exhaust yet so It is still being held back.

Reading through your comments here and if it is the turbo the sensible choice is to remove and send to turbotechnics (and maybe get your injectors and pump looked at too) ... but since when is sensible any ever fun? With me i'm not sure the extra boost has increased fuel economy as my foot has become heavier and I also had pump and injectors done at the same time.

I had a turbo (not the LC) rebuilt at Universal Turbo's in Fordingbridge and I'd definitely recommend them.

I've not used them but possibly near OP are Turboworks in Eastbourne.
