Just a note to say thanks for having me, I have recently bought a '96 80 series LPG VX details of which are on the eBay board. I got a lot of help from members of this forum and I want to give thanks for that.

I am picking it up tomorrow so I can officially be welcomed into the fold, but it is presently being driven to Glasgow by a friend and is reported to be superb.

got plans to baseline service your new toy and any mods in mind?

I have no mods or anything planned, and I cannot see the cruiser going seriously off road, but I feel I needed a 4x4 where I am on a tiny Scottish island, so got a 4x4 that I had admired for a while.

It drives lovely but the steering is a little vague between turning left and right and left, like there is too much play in it, is this a common problem? It also needs four new tyres, any advice on that front?
