Hi All,
So far we have 18 LCs booked for this weekend with people coming from
as far afield as Edinburgh and good old John Byrne is even coming over
from Ireland so as long as the weather holds it is looking like another
great weekend.
So, are any more of you toying with coming along?
If you are, please could you register as soon as possible so that we
can finalise the numbers, particularly on the food side of things.
Hust to remind you...
Full details of the weekend can be seen at http://www.landcruisers.info
and the registration form is at..
I look forward to seeing you there.

Hi Julian,
Just got back from a holiday abroad hense not getting back to you
sooner.
Unfortunatley work commitments prevent me from attending on this
occasion, but I'm already looking forward to the next.
Hope you and family Voelker are well. Please pass on my regards to
everyone else.

Hi Julian
I was hoping to be able to confirm booking today but wasn't able to
re-fill my braking system last night - couldn't get the bleed point to
open... Anyhoo I have WD40'd them all & am hoping I'll be able to get
to it this afternoon to sort it.
Can I still register in the morning or is that too late for you?
I've been at the truck each night this week, rain or shine... The
wife's fairly unhappy with me... I ache all over, am relatively tired
so I'd better be able to get the truck sorted & get there!!!
Cheers
Gavin

Hi Gavin,
The key is to crack them open with either some molegrips or Crows Feet
'sockets' - failing that use a socket, preferably ones that contact on
the flats - usually a sharp hit with the palm of your hand will be
enough to break the joint and then you can use your normal spanner.
I fiind the ones on the LSPV are always the most rusted up so always
just use the molegrips to loosen them up (and at the same time crack off
a lot of the rust) and then once loose they are very easy to move.

Hi Paul,
No worries, I hope all is going well with work.
Yes, we are all well. Have managed to pack the eldest girls off to
boarding school so a lot quieter in the house, despite Imo's best
efforts and little Charlie is coming on leaps and bounds - the seizures
stopped last Christmas and whilst he is behind development wise he is
slowly catching up which is a great relief. Oh yes, and my car's doing
well on it's diet of 100% diesel :) Just hoping to find time in the
next 24hrs to do some major upgrades (like the brakes!) On her.
Will past on your regards to the others.
