Airbag light is on.

Thanks higgy.
That's my next plan after getting my multiple metre back.
Going to test the two pins with multiple metre on the airbag plug.
I'm no electrician but do I put the dial on 200ohm as seems my lowest setting as seen on YouTube.
Not used to testing resistance only voltage as easy.

Great! Use that B1153 pdf to go through the diagnosis steps.

Your 200 ohm setting should be fine for testing continiuty, as you're looking for a very low resistance there. The diagnostic steps will tell you what resistance to expect, then you can set your meter in range.

Leave your -ve and +ve leads in your multimeter as if you were testing voltage; even if your're on the wrong resistance setting you wont blow it up, just wont get the right reading.

(Its not like measuring current!)

Morning guys.
Done my multimeter test and airbag seems fine.
My reading on my multimeter is 0.5ohm and same on my airbag plug so all good
I have sprayed wd40 on all my connections unplugged from each other and replaced.
Not sure it's going to work but fingers crossed.
Big question what's next and were is it located.
Do I have a pressure pad on my seat for airbag as well as seatbelt.

I have recorded my findings on my phone but won't upload for some reason.

Hopefully good news.
Looked through the reviews of previous airbag problems and found higgys post.
After me testing my airbag and being ok I was curious to find what else there could be.
I read higgys post and seen his pictures and went back to my seat and found the sensor.
My wire was barely holding on by a thread.
Seat out again and into the house for some tlc.
Rewired the whole piece from plug to connection and soldering the new connection into place.
Quick tidy up of the underneath of the seat and back in the car.
All plugs in place and connected and no light.
Held my breath as I sat in the seat and still no light so fingers crossed.
(The pictures below are from higgys post )but same sensor problem so again thanks for all input and photos and files sent .
Glad I fixed myself and hopefully will be the end of it.
Big thanks to karl200 for all his help and information.
