Hi I'm UK based and have a 2014 Landcruiser 200, now with Geelong modified gearbox map.
Im also looking to get a set of BFG tyres on the car. Not many options for 20 inch wheels and I know 17 and 18 inch wheels were options. After a bit of research I did find that the Amazon wheels are the same PCD, bore, offset etc so assumed they would fit. The rears do but the fronts foul the callipers. Some thin spacers will do the trick. 5mm should do it. Would go to 10mm if that is all that is available.
So my question is does anyone know of any good quality spacers and longer studs that would be suitable. Ive seen lots of posts recommending Spidertrax but don't really want to go to 1.25 inch spacers unless I have to. Do these spacers fit with stock wheels without fouling the bodywork?

Many thanks in advance for any help

Martin

I bought bolt on spacers for my 100 from Superforma but I see they do slip on as well. You might run into problems keeping the wheel centred though unless they have a mounting lip, and if they do you'll run into problems clearing the drive flange at the front ... The Spidertrax spacers are hub centric iirc. Your minimum thickness for bolt on spacers is probably 20mm with OEM 18" alloys - they have a void in the mounting surface between studs that can accommodate some excess stud length.

Martin, sorry to hijack, how did you get the gearbox remapped by GPD in the UK? Would you share details please?

I put 285 55 20 bfgoodrich on mine very good all round but I should have put 285 65 20 they will fit and would look great.

Have a look at this company for new take off wheels.
Never used them myself but I'm on a Mercedes forum and people have had good results from them, people on here have called them and had bad results.

Jon,
Thanks, I'll look at super forma but as you say I think the issue is going to be the lip for hub centric positioning.Otherwise still looking. Might have to go with something like the spidertrax but hoping to get some info on whether they will cause any rubbing

Brett,
This is a long story, I'll start a separate thread on it

BR1anuk, Interesting, I would have thought the 285/65/20 would foul somewhere. Assume that is still an unknown but the 285/55/20 are OK, no fouling?

the 55 are great there is plenty of room and the 65 would be the same.

Good to know we can go for 55 without any modifications. I recently changed them to Geolander ATs but stayed with 50s.

Raj, are you happy with the geolanders? Tyres are soon for me, it's got Dodgy Chinese brand on at the moment, although they ride ok, they are a dedicated summer tyre.

Hi Brett

within factory specs these are the best off road suitable tyres I found at that time. They look good and reasonably priced. I took mild off road into mud n they were very good didn’t skid or slip. In that thick mud Felt like driving on normal road.
With these tyres I got 21.3 mpg with most stop start traffic so these seem to be good on road as well
