Any interest in a 1989 FJ62 Landcruiser?

Hey Guys,

would there be any interest in the UK for a FJ62 (Petrol) Landcruiser? I have a friend selling one in Namiba and thought if it was worth it to import it and sell it here. What do you guys think?

Although I may be wrong I would doubt there would be a market for it here as the 2F engine is notoriously thirsty and it would be mightily expensive with freight and import duties before it landed on a driveway. A mint 80 petrol would be a cheaper and better bet.
Just out of interest though, what would the price be including all duties?
In perspective the £5k bike I bought in Canada last year ended up at £8k on the road.

Hey Andy,

the vehicle cost is £3,200. Import Duty (10%) plus VAT(20%) would be £1,160. Shipping i'd estimate £1k, So landed would be £5,160. 60's seem pretty rare in the UK hence I figured I'd gauge interest. Being petrol probably would put off a fair few.
