Hey Guys

My 71series 1994 Prado has been in at the workshop for over a month now as the mechanic can't seem to find the components to rebuild the hubs that shat themselves.

Can anyone advise where the best place to find replacements would be and if there is another type of vehicle (like the 80 series) that might have the same Diffs/hubs?

Cheers, look forward to a reply.

You can use any 70 series hubs and convert to manual locking hubs.. 80 series wount work as the drive shafts are different lengths where the hub and wheel connect.

Solid axle hilux work too..

Hilux will be your best bet, I put hilux hubs on my LJ78 when I converted it to free wheeling hubs. But LJ70 hubs would work.

Don’t use surf or other IFS hubs because the disc placing is wrong.

All parts are available to order through Amayama or Partsouq
