Your LC is just a year younger than me, it's also probably in better
condition!
I would love to get a nice BJ40 to go along with my 100 series. Have looked
around but not much around in the UK. Quite a few availabe in Australia but
not sure how much it would cost to ship it over and register it. There are
also loads in Pakistan, the army had them and manitained the impeccably.
Once I have got my 100 series sorted I will look around for one more
seriously.

older than 1975? I know there are some J4 (BJ40 FJ40 etc) owners in the
list.
Out of interest anyone on the list have an FJ55? I know Toyota UK tried to
sell them in 1976 but it wasn't a great time to sell a 4.2L petrol vehicle.
I have a copy of Motor magazine with a review from when they came out, happy
to scan it if anyone has one or is just interested in seeing it.
Also interested if anyone has history on how early Land Cruisers came into
the UK, when, how many etc. Interested in anything, verbal anecdotes, web
pages or anything else, perhaps some of our self confessed dinosaurs bought
them new?

first 4x4 300tdi disco, then copped on and bought jap, pajero for the moment
on 35's , cant afford a cruiser just yet as im trying to buy a house.
