Batwing fitting advice.

I've got a 2.5m long batwing (like foxwing) awning.

It needs to be fixed to vertical fittings, but I dont have a roofrack and dont really want one, so i'm a bit stumped as to what to attach it to.

I guess roof bars but I havent seen any vertical ones, they tend to have a slope.

Anyone got a suggestion?

Rhino make heavy duty roof rails that have a channel in them to take caged nuts.

I use these with a 3mm thick L shaped brackets to provide the vertical surface for the awning to bolt onto.
10,000Km on horribly corrugated Ozzie outback roads and no problems.
Thinks these might be distributed by ARB in the UK if there's nothing similar

If its the one that came from direct 4x4 then there are a pair of ally sections in the pack - also 3 brackets? Cant the ally sections be fitted to your roof rails, and brackets fitted to them? If you need more sections I have 2 that I am not going to use (for this anyway) or direct may get you another?
