Safest to start out assuming that the worst that can happen is an
expensive engine rebuild ... Then work out how much you're prepared to
risk
More often than not I mix my SVO with unleaded Petrol (85% SVO, 15%
Petrol) and fill up with that so that after a while there must only be a
trace of pump diesel.
At 50% SVO, 50% pump diesel it sometimes runs on a bit when you switch
off if the engine hasn't warmed up. I assume that means 50% is actually
a bit too thick and perhaps 35-40% is a safer bet.
If it was high enough up my priority list I'd do a three tank conversion
using the space where the spare wheel goes with a small tank for pump
diesel, for starting, and a big one as an aux SVO tank for increased
range. Then I could ditch the petrol.
Best regards,
Jon.

Cheers,
What is the worst that can happen? Rubber seals go? Engine runs roughly?
