Does anyone have any negative comments on these as I plan on installing one on the dash for phones etc.

Wouldn't it be more useful to put a normal 12v socket in and use an adapter if you need USB?

Will it be permanently powered or aux position only? If the former, 15ma is not a lot of draw on its own but is more than I'd like to add to whatever existing constant drain there is just for USB sockets.
