Not sure if this is the case everywhere but my truck has never had its brakes tested for its MOT - something to do with it being permanent 4-wheel drive. So that is not an issue hopefully......

The rotational speed of a brake tester is very low and acceptable to an MoT test on a permanent 4x4. There is also the back up using a tapley meter.
