Broken Superwinch, any suggestions?

Just a thought as many of you might do this already but instead of using ‘grease’ when rebuilding try using ‘ one shot that’s used in landrover swivel housings’ it’s not as gloopy with less resistance and affected less by cold, as such runs smoother with less draw on power.

Mine uses a semi fluid grease. Also graphite grease on the drum bearings which are simple plastic sleeve bearings.
