buying a landcruiser

Hi Stephen,
That's a good price, however the 100,000 mile mark is a point where you
need to check a number of things:-
Have the brake disks been replaced? If not you may have to replace
them. They are quite cheapish from Milners.
Have the CVs and wheel bearings been replaced recently or are they
original - if original I would budget to replace the the CVs as well as
all the wheel bearings and steering knuckle bearings and all seals in
the front and rear axles - around ?500 for parts (if mainly bought from
Milner Off Road) and then about a days work.
You may want to check the clutch as well - I don't know much about the
lifespan for these.
Apart from that you should be fine. They are very robust vehicles if
well maintained, however the dealers tend not to touch the CVs and
wheel bearings as part of normal servicing - preferring just to replace
when broken.
