I see you can down load all 2 million + words. lol.

We went to war to STOP Sadam having weapons of mass destruction, let alone use them, which he hadn't got anyway. In doing so we mass destroyed 2 million innocent civilians and soldiers who could not defend themselves.

Couldn't make it up could you.

Blair took us into an illegal war with lies and misinformation further provoking and arming islamic extremism. His actions cost lives of service men and women and civilians in the process both during the conflict and afterwards

He should be prosecuted, plain and simple

They all died because Saddam Hussein was burning oil pure and simple . Mercenary politics .

Apparently he can't be prosecuted

Heard that on the radio this morning, true or not i don't know.

We all bear a little bit of the guilt whether we like it or not. At least, that's how I feel, when I am in other countries and am British.

Funny how history (even recent history) repeats itself.

Major decisions based on lies and misinformation, sounds familiar in the current EU circumstances, for better or for worse.

Can’t imagine why, but the word Halliburton keeps going through my mind.

10 million quid for that load of old fanny, I bet it was trebbles all round at the after speech dinner!

I thought the figure was 30 million?

Holy crap! I'm way behind on that one, must have been magnums of Bolly all round as they slapped each other on the back, they must take us for mugs, and they must know we know they're taking us for mugs too!

I was truly shocked at the cost of that. Crazy figures

Can't find an actual number because it seems to have been conveniently erased from the internet already but almost half of the uk voted in favour of Blair's ethics just recently .

They were fortunately outvoted by the clueless ones who don't understand .

are you reffering to the referendum? if so there were blair/labour supporters on both sides

Clearly a connection between Shayne's post #3 and Flint's post #7.

Halliburton was alleged to have assisted with extinguishing some 725 burning oil wells in Kuwait.

They're under constant criticism for entering into non-bid contracts with the US government and the military, but alarmingly, few of the complaints have been upheld in the courts.

Too much high-level corruption in the US government for my liking.

It was just announced 250 soldiers are to be mobilised to Iraq, This is STILL the Iraq war that's happening now
It's just spilled into other countries which was widely predicted prior to the invasion.

It's way bigger than that Clive.

When Halliburton and KBR (connected with Unaoil) were still one company, Cheney was CEO and also Vice President of the USA, (the Defence Secretary was Rumsfeld whose connection with Tamiflu, via Roche and Gilead, also raises an eyebrow or two). Blair has had connections to Korean outfit UI Energy Corporation.

Political policy for sale is what i meant by "Blair ethics" , Saddam was burning the worlds currency so make it stop by whatever means and we will make the richest ex PM in Britain's history .

Going all the way back to desert storm, The whole thing was a sham.
Saddam had been given tacit approval by the US to invade kuwait via its ambassador who med Hussein 8 days before the invasion of Kuwait.
On July 31, 1990, two days before the Iraqi invasion, John Kelly, Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, testified to Congress that the
"United States has no commitment to defend Kuwait and the US has no intention of defending Kuwait if it is attacked by Iraq."

once they did invade the whole propaganda machine started to go into overtime. (Google the Iraqi soldiers stealing incubators from a hospital as the classic example.)
Now once the Iraqi's took Kuwait the Americans terrified the Saudi lot into thinking they were next.
They showed them satellite photo's of huge brigades of Iraqi troops massing on the Saudi border (They weren't of course) This allowed US bases to be constructed in Saudi which are there to this day and gave the US a stranglehold for extracting oil and supplying weapons along with huge kickbacks for the middlemen.

War is profit ... they wouldn't fight them if they werent profitable.
