Compass not powering up - but inclinometer is fine...

Hi all,

I've got a KZJ90 with the inclinometer / compass on the dash.

The inclinometer works well but the compass is not powering up.

Where should I start looking to establish why the compass is not receiving power? Could it be a fuse?

Would you remove the meter unit or could it be that something is not connected behind the console?

Do you mean the compass is completely dead, or you have a ring of Z's around the perimeter?

Can't help if it dead, but if powered but not working it it staight foward to reactivate it.
