connection of spots

Hi Guys
I was just wondering if anyone knows what the headlight relay in the black
box on the passenger side in the engine bay would be capable of
withstanding.
Could you connect spots to this relay or would that over power it or blow
it.

John,
That relay or two relays (in case of dim/dip setup) are hardly good
enough for OEM headlamps.
Haven't you had problems with the lights in the past because of the
relay getting hot and failing?
You'll need a separate power relay for the spots, rated at least 40A.

it'll blow if you run spots through it, or else the column switch will blow.
