I had caster correction fitted a few months ago and not long afterwards the driver side (RHD) CV started grinding and so I had that replaced ..
A few months on and the new CV is grinding now..
Are the 2 things related?

Thanks

Not if it's been done correctly no. There's no direct correlation between the CVs and a castor correction. You shouldn't get any issues with a lift that doesn't have any correction so to get it after some correction wouldn't seem right. CVs generally don't 'grind' they click on full lock and feel lumpy.

There's certainly something not right there.

If indeed it is an 80 with solid axle, I think I'd be checking that the wheel bearings had been set up properly.
