I am about to take delivery of a shiny new LC4 and just wanted to confirm something.
I have previously read there were/are a number of problems with the injector system on the D4D with the copper seals which have been fixed by the introduction of aluminium seals. Just wanted to check if this is actually the case and if there are any other common reasons why a 2011 D4D engine might go pop in the future?
Interestingly, I used to have a 2.4D Volvo which had a record of similar injector problems, Volvo did a recall and replaced the injectors and mounts, I haven't heard of Toyota doing anything similar??
Cheers
Jon
