Delay in auto box going into gear

since i towed a static caravan on to a site as i was stoped to help as i was a 4wd. My auto gear box has seemed to got slower to pick up and engage in to the gear or reverse. Has any one else had this problem or can you help thanks steve

Check the auto box oil level first

Done that had filter changed in gearbox and new oil in and it is still doing it

There's no filter in the box just a mesh screen which is supposed to self clean as you drain the atf so if youv'e been charged for a new filter i'd question it !!!!!
