Direct video upload

I've no idea what I pushed to get that option, no direct upload from the telephone though

Hi Crispin,
I have tried to upload three different videos and eventually get to a position, using the upload a file' key where I can select the vid but every time it tells me the file is too big. First was 10.36, so I edited it to 7.00, and the third was 1.25. Same answer every time. I am using direct from my pc.
Sorry but I am no fan of You Tube and have no wish to go there.
What am I doing wrong?

Hi,

How big were the files? There is a problem with one of the caching systems I use - files over 100mb sometimes fail.

Well the first one was a bit big at 550mb, but the one I tried today was 73MB. The one sometime back was 139MB in MP4 format.
So realistically today's should have worked?
I have an edit suite with output options. Is there an ideal format to output in?

It's not the format that's the problem, it's the size... But, 73 should be fine.

Let me check when I get home (only on phone for next week) and I'll see if there is anything I can change.
