I am thinking of installing an EGT gauge for my KZTE Colorado.

I recently had to put on a new head and am not keen on going through this experience again. It seems to me the best way to keep tabs on the temp is to fit an EGT gauge.

There are some EGT gauges on ebay for not alot of money. ( <£100)

I've looked at the instructions and its seems fairly straightforward to install.

Wondering if anyone has done this and how difficult it is to do. Anything to look out for?

Assuming you locate the EGT upstream of the turbo, avoid swarf falling into the exhaust manifold or you may be replacing a turbo (>£100) :?
